Troubleshooting
1. Exercise Expert will not start.
- Make sure the Exercise Expert CD is in your computer CD ROM drive.
- Make sure that you have working printer installed on your computer. Exercise
Expert will not start unless you have a valid print driver on your
computer.
2. When an Exercise Program is printed it prints in an incorrect font or the
text is illegible, it may look like Greek characters.
- You must set your printer driver to print fonts as bitmaps. This problem
often happens with Hewlett Packard series 5 and 6 printers. To fix the
problem from Windows select Start:Settings:Printers. Right mouse
click on your printer driver and select Properties. Select the Print
Quality tab. Under the Text Mode box select True Type as
Bitmaps.
3. When you try to start Exercise Expert you receive an error in the
3000 range.
- This usually indicates a corrupt database. Reinstall your software.
4. When searching for Exercises you receive a 20009 or 20010 error.
- This indicates that some of your pictures have become corrupt. Make sure
to run scan disk on your hard drive to fix any errors. Reinstall the
software.
