STARTING POSITION (Figure A): Stand or sit in an
upright position. Allow the upper arm to hand naturally down. Grasp
tubing with elbows bent approximately 90 degrees with the palms up. Remove
all slack so that the hands remain about shoulder-width apart. Keep wrists
rigid.
EXERCISE (Figure B): Pull hands away from each other
and out to the side without raising the arms. Allow the upper arm to move
slightly away from the side of the body. Pause and return to staring
position.
REPETITIONS: 10 reps on each side.
